The long-awaited return of EA Sports’ college football video game is creating excitement among fans of the sport, and Utah’s home stadium has been ranked among the top 25 best home-field advantages in the country. Rice-Eccles Stadium, located in Salt Lake City, is where the Utes play and was the only Big 12 program to make the list.
Over the past three years, Utah has been one of the toughest teams to beat on their home turf, with an impressive 18-1 record. In 2023, they had a 6-1 home record, with their only loss coming against then-No. 8 Oregon. As a result, Rice-Eccles Stadium has been recognized as one of the most challenging places for opposing teams to play in college football.
EA Sports’ College Football 25 will be released on July 19th and is sure to add an extra level of excitement for fans of Utah and college football enthusiasts alike. The game will allow players to experience some of the toughest and most iconic stadiums in the country, including Kyle Field at Texas A&M and Bryant-Denny Stadium at Alabama. To round out their rankings, Tiger Stadium at LSU also made it onto the list ahead of other famous stadiums like Darrell K. Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium in Austin and Iowa’s Kinnick Stadium.
