UT Health San Antonio Police Department Hosts Blood Drive to Benefit Blood Donor Services at University Hospital

University Health’s Blood Drive Hosted by UTPD on June 27

The UT Health San Antonio Police Department (UTPD) is hosting a blood drive to benefit Blood Donor Services at University Hospital. This event will take place on Thursday, June 27 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at UTPD’s Training Room No. 124, which is located on the first floor of Garage B, next to the School of Nursing, on the Joe R. and Teresa Lozano Long Campus, at 7703 Floyd Curl Drive.

Those interested in donating blood can register online by clicking on the provided link and selecting a time slot for June 27. Walk-ins are also welcome, and individuals can call 210-358-2812 to inquire about available time slots on the day of the event.

Donors will have access to snacks during the blood drive and there are incentives for donating blood such as a T-shirt for the first donation, a $20 gift card for the second donation, and progressively larger gift cards for subsequent donations. For example, the sixth donation will come with a $60 gift card and entry for a grand prize valued at $500.
