USC Trojans Receive Commitment From Top-16 Overall Prospect Ty Jackson

USC offers 2025 four-star linebacker Ty Jackson

In March, four-star linebacker Ty Jackson announced his top 10 schools. Recently, he received an offer from the USC Trojans, adding another development to his recruiting process. The linebacker hails from Seminole Ridge High School in Loxahatchee, Florida and his top schools besides USC include Syracuse, Texas A&M, Florida State, Penn State, Miami, Alabama, Tennessee, Georgia, Oklahoma and Florida.

Jackson is ranked as the No. 16 overall prospect and No. 1 linebacker in the class of 2025. Additionally, he is considered the second-best player in Florida by On3. Over the past three seasons, Jackson has showcased impressive stats with 378 total tackles, 15 tackles for loss, six sacks and five forced fumbles as a tight end. He caught 15 passes for 257 yards and five touchdowns as a tight end on offense.

In February at the national combine held earlier this year , Jackson was recognized and named to the All-Combine Team by 247Sports . He had exceptional performances in both short shuttle and broad jump categories . Currently there is no front runner to secure Jackson’s commitment but Florida State and Georgia have been active in recruiting him. It remains to be seen if USC can make a strong case to join Jackson’s top list when he makes his decision this fall.
