The 2024 World Olympic Games Qualifier is the final opportunity for athletes to secure spots in the upcoming Paris Olympic Games. In men’s freestyle wrestling, Spencer Lee and Zain Retherford will be representing the United States at 57 kg and 65 kg, respectively. On the other hand, Dalton Roberts, Ellis Coleman, and Kamal Bey will be competing for Olympic qualification at 60 kg, 67 kg, and 77 kg in Greco-Roman wrestling.
The brackets for the event will be posted on UWW Arena for fans to follow along with the action. The schedule for the World Olympic Games Qualifier is as follows: On Thursday, May 9th, there will be preliminary rounds in Greco-Roman wrestling followed by the Paris 2024 Qualification Rounds in various weight classes. On Friday, May 10th, there will be preliminary rounds in women’s freestyle wrestling and repechage in Greco-Roman wrestling, with bronze medal matches and qualification rounds for Paris 2024. On Saturday, May 11th, there will be preliminary rounds in men’s freestyle wrestling and repechage in women’s freestyle wrestling along with bronze medal matches and qualification rounds for Paris 2024.
