Diamond Nation, a renowned youth baseball and softball complex in Hunterdon County, has recently been acquired by Unrivaled Sports. The complex, located in Raritan Township, welcomes more than 3,000 teams and 45,000 players annually and has seen notable players such as Anthony Volpe and Mike Trout.
Unrivaled Sports is a company that recently launched and already operates various youth sports properties across the nation. With this acquisition, Unrivaled Sports aims to bolster its commitment to youth baseball and softball. The complex spans 65 acres and includes five regular-sized baseball fields, two additional fields, and an indoor training facility. Tournaments are held on most weekends during the spring, summer, and fall.
The terms of the sale were not disclosed, but Unrivaled Sports CEO Wade Martin expressed excitement about the acquisition. He stated that his company aims to provide young athletes with elite training, operational excellence, and unforgettable experiences. The Cust family, who founded Diamond Nation in 2009, will continue to play a significant role in the complex’s operations moving forward.
