Unrest in New Caledonia: A Closer Look at Online Shopping and Eco-Friendly Fashion

New Caledonia’s international airport has been closed due to roadblocks set up by separatists who are protesting against French plans to grant voting rights to long-term residents. The territory, located east of Australia, has been paralyzed for a week, with unrest escalating at night and resulting in casualties. While France has deployed hundreds of armed police to try to gain control, the airport remains closed to commercial flights at least until Thursday.

French President Emmanuel Macron has stated that progress is being made in restoring order in New Caledonia. He recently decided to send soldiers to the archipelago to support local security forces. This move is temporarily necessary to alleviate the burden on domestic forces already deployed to the territory. Despite the unrest, various online sites and platforms continue to operate and promote digital services and products, including digital gift cards and gaming options. These sites offer a range of services and products geared towards online gaming, sports predictions, and entertainment.

The situation in New Caledonia remains fluid, with efforts ongoing to restore peace and order in the territory. The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of New Caledonia is managing the airport and monitoring the situation closely as France continues its efforts to address the separatist protests that have led to widespread violence and disruption in the region.

Despite these efforts, some critics argue that online retailers are still contributing significantly
