Deborah Blum, a nationally recognized journalist known for her work on poison, believes that the public deserves more scientific information. As a Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist and director of the Knight Science Journalism program at MIT, Blum has a strong background in science communication. She is also a Badger, having received a graduate degree from UW-Madison and taught science journalism and other topics there for nearly two decades.
