Unraveling the Secrets to Educational and Research Excellence: A Look at the Center for World University Rankings’ Global 2,000 List

UWM ranks among the top 3.1% of universities worldwide.

The Center for World University Rankings (CWUR) compiles the Global 2,000 list based on objective indicators such as alumni success, research output, and faculty distinctions. Only three universities in Wisconsin made it onto this prestigious list, with the Medical College of Wisconsin and UW-Madison ranking higher than the others.

The CWUR uses seven indicators to determine a university’s rankings, with alumni success accounting for half of a university’s ranking score. In addition to their rankings services, the organization also offers consulting services to governments and universities. They provide policy advice, strategic insights, and consulting to help institutions improve their educational and research outcomes.

The CWUR focuses on helping institutions achieve success through data-driven analysis and recommendations. Their services are designed to help universities make informed decisions about their resources, policies, and strategies for achieving their goals. By working closely with universities around the world, the CWUR is able to provide valuable insights into best practices and emerging trends in higher education.
