A fire that nearly claimed the life of an innocent woman in Dresden was staged by a vengeful man, according to new revelations. Nancy S., a 19-year-old woman, was initially accused of attempted murder after a fire broke out in her ex-boyfriend Chokri A.’s apartment.
However, further investigation revealed that it was actually Chokri A. who set the fire and handcuffed himself to the bed frame in a desperate attempt to frame Nancy S. The incident took place in November and was captured on video.
Chokri A. is now facing charges of arson and false accusation, while Nancy S. has been released. The public prosecutor’s office has brought these charges against Chokri A., accusing him of particularly serious arson and false accusation.
