The manufacturing industry is showcasing its career opportunities through STEM Wars 2024. Local employers such as Robert Dahlin from Weber Knapp are participating in the event, which will take place at the Northwest Arena in Jamestown and feature two days of programming.

Todd Tranum, Executive Director of the Manufacturers Association and President of Dream It Do It Western New York, emphasized the importance of the event in allowing community members, job seekers, and technology enthusiasts to explore products made locally and learn about emerging technologies in the manufacturing sector. One new addition to the event is a Career Fair and Technology Expo open to the public, which will be held on Wednesday from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. on rink A at the Northwest Arena.

Attendees will have the opportunity to discover the variety of products made in the community and how technology is integrated into manufacturing processes. By participating in this event, attendees can gain insights into local manufacturing industry and career opportunities available.

STEM Wars 2024 is organized by Dream It Do It Western New York and the New York State Technology and Engineering Educators Association, Chautauqua County Chapter. The event is sponsored by various organizations, including Blackstone Advanced Technologies, the Chautauqua Partnership for Economic Growth, Cummins, and Weber Knapp, among others.
