The ‘Be Healthy Bash’ is kicking off the summer season on June 8 at the Fayette County Extension Office in Lexington, hosted by UK HealthCare and University of Kentucky Cooperative Extension Service. This event will run from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and focus on overall well-being, including nutrition, fitness, and emotional wellness. Various activities such as health screenings, wellness resources, free food, cooking demonstrations, emotional wellness activities, physical activities, and games will be available for attendees to participate in.
The Be Healthy Bash aims to provide community members with access to healthy foods, educate them on the importance of eating well and staying active, and highlight the various health and wellness services available in the community.
