Progress Report 2024: Advancements in the Global Action Plan for Ensuring Healthy Lives and Well-being for All

The 2024 SDG3 GAP progress report, ‘Aligning for Country Impact’, has been released and it focuses on the importance of alignment as a key principle that can lead to greater impact in countries working towards the health-related SDGs. The report serves as a basis for further discussions among the 13 signatory agencies on how to enhance alignment and collaboration across various multilateral agencies.

The fifth progress report underlines the voices of countries, including their perspectives on development partner alignment and collaborations at the country level. The report highlights the need for greater alignment among development partners around national plans, as outlined in the SDG3 GAP monitoring framework, the 2023 UHC Political Declaration, and the 2023 Lusaka Agenda.
