Shark Week at The Science Mill is a must-visit event for anyone interested in sharks this summer. Young scientists attending the event will have the opportunity to learn fascinating facts about the ocean’s apex predator, their environmental impact, and the various careers related to studying and protecting sharks. Some of the exciting highlights of the event include shark and squid dissections, a shark game show, special guest Matt “The Shark Guy” Marchant, sharks on shore activities, and color-changing squids.
The Science Mill is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesdays through Saturdays and from noon to 5 p.m. on Sundays. Visitors can check in advance for daily activities by calling or visiting the website. Tickets for Shark Week and other events can be purchased in advance on the website or obtained as walk-ins.
