Unexpected Closure at the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago: What You Need to Know

On Wednesday, the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago unexpectedly closed for maintenance. The museum posted on its website that they would be closed and advised those who had purchased advance tickets to call for a refund or to rebook their reservation. According to the website, the museum is expected to reopen on Thursday for normal operating hours.

From Monday to Thursday, the museum was operating under extended spring break hours, opening at 9:30 a.m. and closing at 5:30 p.m. The website mentioned that the regular operating hours of 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. would resume on Monday, April 8. In addition to this, the museum announced that on April 21, there would be a free admission day for Illinois residents.
