UNC Asheville Women’s Golf graduate Hailey Pendleton has been awarded Academic All-District® honors by College Sports Communicators. In order to qualify for this honor, a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore both athletically and academically, maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 3.50, and participate in at least 70 percent of team scoring events for the year.
Pendleton graduated from UNC Asheville with a bachelor’s degree in health and wellness promotion, earning a GPA of 3.55. During her senior year, she appeared in 10 tournaments and 27 rounds, ending with a stroke average of 78.8. This is Pendleton’s first Academic All-District® honor.
Originally from Matthews, N.C., Pendleton achieved her first career Top-20 finish at Ball State’s Brittany Kelly Classic, tying for 20th place with teammate Presley Pickron.
