Ulas Karademir Returns to IO Interactive as CTO: Driving the Studio’s Innovative Endeavors Forward

IO Interactive is delighted to announce the return of Ulas Karademir as chief technology officer

Ulas Karademir, a former leader at Unity and RealityOS, has been appointed as the new Chief Technical Officer (CTO) at IO Interactive. This is his return to the studio after a seven-year absence. As CTO, Karademir will oversee the technical operations of the studio and lead the ongoing development of IO Interactive’s proprietary Glacier engine. He will also work closely with the production teams behind current titles like Project 007 and Project Fantasy.

Karademir expressed his excitement about being back at IO Interactive and contributing to the development of hit titles like Hitman, Glacier, Project 007, and Project Fantasy. He is committed to maintaining the studio’s reputation for innovation, great gameplay, and immersive worlds while striving to elevate their standards even further.

IO Interactive CEO Hakan Abrak welcomed Karademir back to the team and praised his experience, knowledge, and leadership qualities.
