The much-anticipated bout between Virna Jandiroba and Amanda Lemos has been upgraded to a five-round main event at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas on July 20. The strawweight contender bout is set to headline the UFC Fight Night event, which features an exciting lineup of other bouts.
Jandiroba holds a record of 14-3-1 in MMA, with an impressive 8-3 record in the UFC. She has been on a roll lately, winning three consecutive fights against Angela Hill, Marina Rodriguez, and Loopy Godinez. With a 6-2 record in her last eight fights, she is looking forward to continuing her streak against Lemos.
Lemos, on the other hand, has a record of 20-3 in MMA and a 6-3 record in the UFC. She is coming off a win against Mackenzie Dern in February and is looking to build on that momentum. After failing to win the title against Zhang Weili in August, she is eager to get back into the win column with a victory over Jandiroba.
