UCI Health Acquires Four Southern California Hospitals from Tenet Healthcare for $975 Million: Expanding Inpatient Capacity to 858 Beds

UCI Health finalizes purchase of four Tenet hospitals

Recently, UCI Health in Orange, Calif., completed the acquisition of Tenet Healthcare’s Pacific Coast Network. This acquisition includes four hospitals in Southern California and their outpatient locations, for a total cost of $975 million.

The four medical centers that were previously owned by Tenet in Southern California – Fountain Valley Regional Hospital, Lakewood Regional Medical Center, Los Alamitos Medical Center, and Placentia-Linda Hospital – are now part of UCI Health. The transition was officially confirmed in a news release from UCI Health on March 26th.

With this addition to their portfolio, UCI Health has significantly expanded its inpatient bed capacity to 858 beds. This acquisition is a major step forward for UCI Health as they continue to grow and enhance their healthcare services in the region.
