The value of cash deposits with the UAE Central Bank increased to 15.46 billion dirhams during January 2024, representing a growth of 10.19% on an annual basis, or the equivalent of 1.43 billion dirhams, compared to 14.036 billion dirhams at the end of January 2023. On a monthly basis, the value of cash deposits decreased by just 4.33%, or 641.87 million dirhams, compared to 14.82 billion dirhams at the end of December 2023.
