During a media briefing at the Ministry of Economy’s headquarters in Dubai, Dr. Abdul Rahman Hassan Al-Muaini, Assistant Undersecretary for the Intellectual Property Sector, announced the UAE’s goal of reaching the top 15 global positions in the “Global Innovation Index” by 2031. Al-Muaini also highlighted the positive outcomes of implementing a new mechanism for protecting intellectual property rights for creative works on digital platforms.
