The Graduate Research Fellowship Program has been designed to recognize and support exceptional graduate students in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) fields. This prestigious fellowship provides a $37,000 annual stipend and a $16,000 cost of education allowance for tuition for a period of three years.
In 2024, two University of Colorado Boulder computer science graduate students were awarded this program. They join four other current recipients from the same field. This highly competitive award is sought after by students from all over the country who are working towards research-based master’s and doctoral degrees.
Among the recipients for 2024 are PhD students William Xie and Raquel Yupanqui, who have demonstrated outstanding potential in their respective fields of study. The fellowship will not only provide financial support for their education but also help them further their research and academic pursuits.
