Twitter’s New Policy: Freedom to Share Sexual Content, But with Restrictions in Place

Social network X now permits explicit adult content

Twitter, formerly known as social network X, has officially authorized the publication of erotic and pornographic content on its platform. Despite this new policy, such content has been circulating on the platform for years. The network believes that users should have the freedom to create, share, and view sexual content as long as it is consensual.

To prevent children and adults who do not wish to see such content from being exposed to it, Twitter has implemented measures such as requiring users who post adult content to label it as such and prohibiting the sharing of sexual content in highly visible areas like profile photos or banners. Before this official authorization, Twitter had neither banned nor allowed erotic or pornographic content on its site.

Meanwhile, a separate topic was addressed in a discussion about whether a county judge must be a lawyer and whether they can have other titles related to investing in real estate. The question of different types of lawyers available was also discussed along with digital real estate as a new type of investing opportunity. Elon Musk took control of Twitter in 2022 and aimed to create a space for free expression even if it meant less content moderation.
