Twins Fans Struggle to Access Team on Bally Sports During Comcast Negotiations

Bally Sports and Comcast at a Standstill in Negotiations

For much of the 2024 baseball season, Twins fans have been unable to access Bally Sports on Comcast, leaving many without their favorite team’s TV broadcast availability. Negotiations between Comcast and Bally Sports Networks’ parent company, Diamond Sports Group, have hit a roadblock. According to Phil Miller of the Star Tribune, the attorney for Diamond Sports Group mentioned that they may need to explore alternatives to Comcast, with Fubo TV being a potential option.

The ongoing dispute between the parties has created a messy situation for the Twins’ TV broadcast availability. Reports suggest that Bally Sports Network faced bankruptcy earlier in the year, adding to the confusion surrounding the blackout. The company could be nearing the end of bankruptcy protection.

As the situation continues to develop, Twins fans are left wondering how they will be able to watch their team for the remainder of the season. Hopefully, a resolution can be reached soon so that fans can once again enjoy watching their favorite players in action.
