T’Vondre Sweat’s Driving Under the Influence Arrest Shakes Up His NFL Draft Prospects

Ex-Texas Defensive Tackle T’Vondre Sweat to Visit Broncos and Chiefs

T’Vondre Sweat, a former defensive tackle from Texas, is continuing his pre-draft visits with two more stops this week. The NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport reported that Sweat will be visiting the Broncos and Chiefs after recent visits with the Titans and Seahawks.

However, Sweat’s off-field behavior has been a topic of scrutiny following a recent arrest for driving while intoxicated. According to a police affidavit, Sweat’s blood-alcohol concentration was 0.105 percent, which is more than 25 percent over the legal limit, after being involved in a two-car wreck in the early morning hours of April 7th.

This incident has caused some concern about Sweat’s draft stock as he was previously considered a Day 2 prospect. It remains to be seen how this will impact his draft status moving forward. Despite this setback, Sweat continues to visit teams and showcase his skills on the field as he prepares for the upcoming NFL Draft.
