Turkish Striker Enes Unal Returns to Bournemouth on Permanent Basis: Ready to Make a Difference

Bournemouth completes £13m signing of Turkish forward Unal

Enes Unal, a 27-year-old forward from Turkey, has recently completed a permanent transfer to Bournemouth from Getafe for a fee of about £13m. During his loan spell with Bournemouth earlier this year, Unal played a crucial role in helping the team achieve a record Premier League points tally of 48.

Unal, who previously spent two years at Manchester City without making a league appearance, has now signed a four-year contract with Bournemouth. He expressed his excitement about being part of the project at Bournemouth and believes there is great potential for improvement.

Bournemouth’s manager, Andoni Iraola, had confirmed back in April that Unal would be signed on a permanent transfer. During his loan spell, Unal scored two goals in three starts and 14 substitute appearances, with his first goal coming in a draw with Sheffield United and the second in a win over Brighton.

Having been capped 32 times by Turkey, Unal has also been named in their provisional squad for the upcoming Euro 2024 tournament. Turkey is in the same group as Portugal, the Czech Republic, and Georgia, and Unal will be looking to make a significant impact during the competition.
