Dry Needling Course at Sports Medicine Reaches Full Capacity

The three-day Dry Needling Course recently held at the Gentry Center in Nashville by the Tennessee State Sports Medicine Department was a sold-out event that attracted over 40 medical professionals. The course, which aimed to develop knowledge, safety, and clinical skills needed to effectively assess and deliver dry needling treatment for painful neuromuscular conditions, was designed to provide comprehensive training and practical experience.

Trevor Searcy, TSU’s Assistant Athletic Director of Sports Medicine, and Assistant Athletic Trainer Jeremy Hall were among the participants in the event. Searcy commented on the importance of hosting such courses for TSU Sports Medicine, stating that it helps expand their brand and secure their place as a leader in sports medicine.

The Dry Needling Course offered medical professionals an excellent opportunity to enhance their skills and knowledge, ultimately benefiting athletes and patients through improved treatment methods and care. TSU’s commitment to hosting such events not only helps its own community of medical professionals but also contributes to the overall advancement of sports medicine as a whole. By providing opportunities like these, TSU continues to strengthen its sports medicine education and practice while promoting professional development within its community.
