The New York appeals court issued a ruling on Tuesday that former President Donald Trump’s personal lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, has been disbarred immediately due to his involvement in spreading baseless claims of election fraud in the 2020 election. Giuliani’s name has been removed from the roll of attorneys and counselors-at-law in the State of New York, and he is prohibited from practicing law in the state as per the court’s order.

Giuliani’s actions were condemned by the court for attacking the integrity of the U.S. electoral process and contributing to national unrest following the 2020 Presidential election. The court criticized Giuliani for violating key principles of the legal profession and failing to show remorse for his actions.
