Troy Franklin Signs Four-Year Deal with Broncos: Familiarity with Bo Nix Set to Boost Impressive Career in NFL

Broncos ink deal with Troy Franklin, fourth-round pick

The Broncos have completed the signing of all their draft picks for this year, with wide receiver Troy Franklin being the last to ink his four-year deal. The team made the announcement on Saturday. Franklin was one of seven selections made by the Broncos in April, and luckily for him, he already has chemistry with quarterback Bo Nix as they both played together at Oregon. Franklin had an impressive college career, catching 142 passes for 2,274 yards and 23 touchdowns over the last two seasons.

Due to Courtland Sutton’s absence from offseason workouts, Franklin has been able to work with Marvin Mims Jr., Tim Patrick, Josh Reynolds, and seventh-round pick DeVaughn Vale in recent weeks. This extra practice time will be valuable for Franklin as he transitions to the NFL. The Broncos are counting on him to make an impact on the field and his familiarity with some of his new teammates should help with his development. Overall, the Broncos have had a successful draft class and are looking forward to seeing how these new additions will contribute to the team in the upcoming season.
