In the upcoming month, a Gulf Coast-themed sports and dive bar named Floridaman will make its grand debut on the second floor of Breaker Breaker located on the Eastside Beltline. The concept behind this bar was inspired by the team’s own experiences growing up in Florida where such bizarre incidents are a regular occurrence along the Gulf Coast.
Floridaman’s atmosphere will be reminiscent of Breaker Breaker’s vibe but with a more tropical feel. The space will be adorned with patterned lounge furniture, artwork, and lighting installations, as well as tropical plants. Seating will offer an unparalleled view of the Beltline for guests to enjoy while they relax and unwind.
When it comes to drinks, Floridaman will boast two potent frozen cocktails on tap, alongside a beer and wine list and a selection of canned cocktails. The food menu will feature handheld items and dips that pair well with drinks. One of the signature dishes will be the Floridaman sandwich, a twist on the Tampa Cuban featuring roasted chicken, ham, salami, Swiss cheese, pickles, mustard, and mayonnaise.
The team behind Floridaman includes Alex Brounstein, Johnny Farrow, and Maximillian Hines who are thrilled to bring a taste of Florida to Atlanta. The new bar is located at 921 Wylie Street Southeast and promises to provide guests with a fun and laid-back atmosphere to enjoy on the Eastside Beltline.
