Isaac Flippin is celebrating his first Father’s Day with his new triplets, River, Ridge, and Wrenlie. The couple found out they were expecting not one, but three babies when Mackenzie was just 8 weeks into her pregnancy.
As the pregnancy progressed, the uncertainty of the situation was overwhelming for the couple, especially when they didn’t know if they would have to deliver the babies prematurely. After 29 weeks of pregnancy, the triplets were born at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital in North Carolina. Although the babies are still in the hospital, Isaac and Mackenzie are relieved that the triplets are healthy.
Isaac is spending his first Father’s Day in the hospital with his babies and couldn’t be happier. He looks forward to the day when they can bring their newborns home to Virginia. The Flippin family is planning to introduce their new additions to their home in Fancy Gap in late July.
