Transforming Kettering Healthcare: Introducing the New Center for Clinical Innovation

Kettering Health inaugurates state-of-the-art facility within a historic Dayton residence

Kettering Health has recently opened its newest center, the Center for Clinical Innovation, in the former home of Charles Kettering, after whom the city is named. Located at Ridgeleigh Terrace on the Kettering Health Main Campus, which used to be the company’s corporate headquarters, this new center aims to foster the development of clinical ideas that will improve patient care in the Miami Valley.

The 11-acre property in Kettering will now be a hub for imagining, developing, and implementing innovative clinical practices, with a focus on quality, safety, and efficiency. Mike Gentry, CEO of Kettering Health, envisions the Center for Clinical Innovation as a space for physicians from across the health system to come together, collaborate, and create new ways to serve the community.

Robert T. Smith, the chief medical officer at Kettering Health, supports this vision and sees the center as a place where physicians can connect and innovate for the benefit of their patients. The goal of the Center for Clinical Innovation at Ridgeleigh Terrace is to drive progress in healthcare and ultimately improve patient outcomes in the Dayton region. To learn more about this project
