Transformation at VFW Post 4692: That 1 Painter Gives Back through Paint it Forward Initiative

Local business provides complimentary painting services for VFW Post 4692

The VFW Post 4692 in Bryan is undergoing a transformation, thanks to the generosity of That 1 Painter. In honor of Memorial Day, the painting company is donating their services to spruce up the exterior of the building. The project manager for That 1 Painter, Cody Meece, noticed the deteriorating paint on the VFW building and decided it was time for a fresh coat.

Having attended events at the VFW Post for over a decade, Meece felt compelled to give back to a place that had given so much to him. He offered to provide the painting service free of charge, as a way to support veterans and uplift the community. The project involves power washing the building, selecting paint colors, priming the surface, and finally painting the exterior to improve curb appeal.

That 1 Painter is participating in their annual “Paint it Forward” initiative, where they donate painting services to those in need. Teaming up with Sherwin-Williams,
