On Saturday, a small World War II-era plane crashed in Chino, California, resulting in the tragic deaths of two individuals. The aircraft, a twin-engine Lockheed 12A, went down near the airport in a grass field approximately 200 yards away from the runway. The passengers on board have not been identified.
Upon arrival at the scene, firefighters found the plane and were unable to save the lives of those onboard. The incident will be investigated by both the Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board.
