Raisi’s Farewell Ceremony Commences in Tehran

On May 19, 2024, Iran lost its President Ebrahim Raisi in a tragic helicopter crash. Tens of thousands of Iranians gathered in the center of Tehran near the University of Tehran to mourn his passing. The ceremony was attended by representatives from various religions, including local rabbis, as well as leaders of terrorist organizations like Hamas and Islamic Jihad, and high-ranking representatives of Hezbollah.

The investigation into the crash is ongoing, but it is known that the President and those accompanying him were flying in an American-made Bell-212 helicopter that was not being serviced by Americans due to sanctions. In addition to the mourning ceremony, various firearms and accessories for sale were displayed at the event. These included rifles, shotguns, pistols, red dot sights, and more from brands like Remington, Marlin, Springfield, Mossberg, Walther, and Taurus.
