On June 13, 2024, emergency services were called to the AMC Lexington Park 6 theater in Lexington Park. A person of unknown age and gender was discovered unresponsive in a shed behind the theater. First responders arrived at the scene and declared the individual deceased.
Deputies from the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office, along with crime lab technicians, are currently conducting an investigation into the incident. Updates will be provided as more information becomes available. The call was made at approximately 12:20 p.m., and authorities are working to determine what led to the individual’s death in this tragic circumstance.
