Tragic Accident and Inclement Weather Delay PGA Championship Round 2

A fatal accident near Valhalla Golf Club has caused a delay in the start of Round 2 of the PGA Championship. The PGA Championship issued a statement stating that the start time would be delayed due to a serious accident that occurred near the course. They said that an update on the situation would be provided at 12pm BST and the starting time for Round 2 would be at least one hour after the update is made.

The first group was originally scheduled to go out at 12.15pm BST, but this has been delayed due to the accident. The LMPD Traffic Unit is currently investigating the incident where an adult male pedestrian was struck by a shuttle bus while crossing the road. Unfortunately, he sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

In addition to this tragic event, inclement weather is also forecasted to disrupt play for the day, making it difficult for golfers and spectators alike. The PGA Championship has not yet released any further information about how this will affect Round 2 or if there will be any changes to tournament rules as a result of these unforeseen circumstances.
