On a Wednesday morning, around 8:30 am, a shooting occurred at Delaware County Linen in Chester. The incident resulted in the deaths of two individuals and injuries to three others, one of whom is critical. According to Delaware County District Attorney Jack Stollsteiner, the shooting was carried out by a disgruntled employee.

The suspect was apprehended at the scene and later arrested by a Trainer police officer following a brief escape. Chester police commissioner Stephen Gretsky confirmed that the victims were fellow employees of the company.

The motive behind the shooting is still being investigated, and the names of the victims have not yet been released. Delaware County Linen is a linen rental and laundry services company that has been in operation since 1988. The business primarily serves restaurants, country clubs, hotels, and other establishments in Pennsylvania and neighboring states.

At present, the employees of Delaware County Linen are gathered on the steps of St. Hedwig’s church located across from the business, as they attempt to come to terms with the tragic events that occurred on that fateful morning.
