Telligen Technologies LLC, a healthcare technology services company, has been accused of trademark infringement by Telligen, Inc., their California-based rival. The lawsuit filed in federal court alleges that Telligens is using a trademark that is similar to Telligen’s own marks for similar services.
Telligen, which has been in operation for over 50 years and holds at least six federal trademark registrations, claims that Telligens is willfully infringing on their family of “Telligen” marks associated with healthcare services. The complaint was filed in the US District Court for the Central District of California, highlighting the importance of protecting intellectual property in the healthcare technology industry.
Telligen has been using their marks since as early as 2011 to provide health management expertise. They are seeking damages and an injunction to stop Telligens Technologies LLC from using their similar trademark. The case will be heard in federal court to resolve the dispute between the two companies.
