Caleb Doty of Lausanne was the winning pitcher in baseball, allowing just three hits in five innings and going 3-for-3 with three RBIs in a 10-0 victory over ECS. In softball, Ashlyn Bartholomew of Arlington was 2-for-3 with two runs scored in an 8-7 win against Munford. Jennifer McGregory of Bartlett had two hits and struck out eight in six innings in a 4-0 victory over Millington.
In baseball, Larry Hampton of Trezevant went 3-for-3, including a homer, with six RBIs and four runs scored in a 20-4 win against East. Warner Johnson had two hits and Collin Woods was 2-for-3 with two RBIs. Damarious Reed and Preston Reed also had notable performances.
In softball, Gabby Brewer was the winning pitcher for Arlington, striking out eight and allowing just one run in five innings. Laney Lawson of Brighton struck out seven and allowed no runs in four innings against St. Benedict’s girls’ team. Lola Sprenkle of Tipton-Rosemark Academy went 4-for
