A recent ranking has revealed that Arlington, Virginia is home to three of the top 250 sports bars in the United States. The list, compiled by betting site BetUS, took into account three factors: beer price, hamburger price, and a Google review average.
Crystal City Sports Pub was ranked the highest in the D.C. area at No. 53, followed closely by First Down Sports Bar in Ballston at No. 202 and No. 222, respectively. Only one other D.C. area bar, The Bank Shot Bar & Grill in Laurel, MD, made the rankings at No. 140.
What sets these sports bars apart is their affordable prices for both beer and hamburgers. Crystal City Sports Pub offers a hamburger for $7.99 and a beer for $4.00 while First Down Sports Bar offers a combo of a beer and hamburger for $6 and $13.99 respectively. Dudley’s Sport and Ale has the same combo for $3.75 and $15 whereas The Bank Shot Bar & Grill has a burger for $8 and a beer for $4 but didn’t make it to the top rankings due to other factors such as location or ambiance that might have affected its ranking score
These rankings aim to identify not only the best sports bars in Arlington but also those across the country that offer the ultimate viewing experience for sports fans who gather to watch games together every month with millions of viewers tuning in from around the world
