Colorado offers scholarship to top linebacker recruit Ty Jackson in 2025

Devin Rispress, the assistant director of player personnel for the Colorado football program, was tagged by Ty Jackson in an announcement on Thursday night. The top-ranked linebacker in the 2025 recruiting class according to On3, Jackson had received an offer from Colorado and was excited to share the news with his followers.

Standing at 6 feet 1 inch and weighing 200 pounds, Jackson is currently a senior at Seminole Ridge High School in Loxahatchee, Florida. In his junior year, he recorded impressive stats including 135 total tackles, four tackles for loss, two sacks, two interceptions, and four forced fumbles, as reported by MaxPreps.

While both On3 and ESPN consider Jackson to be the top linebacker in his class, Rivals and 247Sports rank him at number 20. Nevertheless, Jackson has garnered interest from numerous Power Four programs.
