Sweat has been dealing with an injury and hasn’t participated in practice since rookie minicamp. However, head coach Brian Callahan stated that Sweat is expected to be back by training camp at the latest, and could potentially return as early as next week for the end of OTAs.
Sweat is projected to have a starting role in the middle of the defensive line for the 2024 season. Missing practice time as a rookie can hinder his chances of having a significant role right away, but the Titans have limited options beyond Sweat in that position.
