Titans Sign Entire 2022 Draft Class, Including Troubled Second-Round DT T’Vondre Sweat

Titans secure second-round pick T’Vondre Sweat with contract signing

The Tennessee Titans have officially signed their entire 2022 draft class, with second-round defensive tackle T’Vondre Sweat being the last player to agree to a deal. Sweat, who played college football at Texas, had an impressive career and was the winner of the Outland Award for being the best interior lineman in the country. Despite a DUI incident before the draft, the Titans saw potential in him and took a chance on him.

As Sweat begins his journey with the Titans, he has a lot to look forward to. He joins first-round tackle JC Latham, fourth-round linebacker Cedric Gray, fifth-round cornerback Jarvis Brownlee Jr., sixth-round receiver Jha’Quan Jackson, seventh-round linebacker James Williams, and seventh-round linebacker Jaylen Harrell in Nashville’s defense. With his talent and potential, Sweat has the opportunity to make a positive impact on the team’s success and solidify his place in the NFL. The Titans are optimistic about his future with them and hope that he can stay out of trouble off the field while contributing significantly to their defense.
