Titans Punter Ryan Stonehouse Faces Setbacks in 2023 Season, But Has Positive Outlook for Future Games

Ryan Stonehouse of the Titans provides updates on his injury recovery

Tennessee Titans punter Ryan Stonehouse faced a setback in the 2023 season as he suffered three serious injuries on one play. Despite the setbacks, Stonehouse recently shared some positive news during an interview on SiriusXM NFL Radio with Alex Marvaez and Zig Fracassi.

In December, Stonehouse suffered a left knee injury that has been encouraging for his recovery. When asked about his availability for the season opener, Stonehouse expressed that his goal is to be ready for that game. However, due to the injuries he sustained, it may be unrealistic to expect Stonehouse to be game-ready for Week 1. In such a scenario, Ty Zentner is the likely candidate on the Titans roster to fill in for Stonehouse. While Zentner may not have the same kicking power as Stonehouse, he proved to be a capable replacement for Tennessee last season.
