Tianbing Technology’s Tianlong 3 Receives Full Carbon Fiber Composite Fairing for Inaugural Flight

Tianbing Technology, a leading Chinese company in the aerospace industry, has announced that they have successfully developed large-scale composite cabin sections. This breakthrough marks a significant milestone in the development of high-quality, high-efficiency, and low-cost products.

The TL-3 fairing is an essential component of rockets and is located at the front end. The fairing is made entirely of carbon fiber composite materials and measures 4200 mm in diameter and about 13 meters in length. It is the largest fairing in domestic commercial aerospace and the largest full carbon fiber fairing in China. Moreover, it is customized for satellite internet constellations, making it the most advanced composite fairing in the country.

Through innovative technology, Tianbing Technology has significantly reduced the development cost of the TL-3 fairing by 30% and increased production efficiency by more than 20%. This has enabled the company to shorten the product development cycle and increase its success rate for mass production and high-intensity launch missions.
