Three outstanding Zags from the Gonzaga men’s tennis team, Matthew Hollingworth, Leon Roider, and Sasha Trkulja, have been recognized for their exceptional performances on and off the court. These honors were awarded by College Sports Communicators as part of the 2023-24 CSC Academic All-District Men’s Tennis Team.
This accolade is given to recognize the top student-athletes in the nation for their outstanding performances in both sports and academics. The CSC Academic All-America® program has separate divisions for NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA.
Those who earn Academic All-District® honors will now move on to be considered for the prestigious CSC Academic All-America® ballot. The first, second, and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced on June 4th for women and June 5th for men.
The three Zags named to this esteemed team have demonstrated excellence in both their sport and academics, making them stand out among their peers. Their achievements are a testament to their dedication and hard work in both areas.
