Nearly 15,000 car dealerships in North America are facing challenges due to cyberattacks impacting system provider CDK Global. The company had to shut down its dealership management systems for two consecutive days as a result of these attacks. CDK Global serves dealerships across North America and the first attack occurred early on a Wednesday morning, prompting the shutdown of systems that dealerships heavily rely on for conducting their day-to-day operations. Later on the same day, a second cyber incident occurred, causing further disruptions for CDK Global customers, as reported by Automotive News.
