Thomas College Shines at SAM International Business Conference, Takes Second Place and Secures Top Individual Performance

Students from Thomas College receive honors at business conference

Thomas College recently sent five students to compete in the Society for the Advancement of Management (SAM) International Business Conference held in Orlando, Florida. The team consisted of Dan Brewer, Tanner Herrick, Jade Crowell, Preston Moody, and Addison Landon.

The students participated in various competitions at the conference and did exceptionally well. The team placed second overall and received third place for their case study presentation. Three students, Preston Moody, Jade Crowell, and Addison Landon, competed in the Knowledge Bowl finals, with Landon finishing in second place. Landon was also recognized as the top individual student performer.

Despite facing tough competition with a record number of colleges participating, the Thomas College team impressed many with their exceptional performance. The full team competed in various categories including a written case study, a case study presentation, a knowledge bowl, an extemporaneous speech, and a business pitch.

Dr. Rick Saucier and Dr. Jono Anzalone coached the team and mentioned that the competitions were particularly challenging this year due to the high number of colleges participating. However
