Jonathan Broom-Edwards of Britain claimed his third consecutive high jump title at the Para Athletics World Championships in Kobe. The 35-year-old athlete, who won gold last year alongside Poland’s Maciej Lepiato, cleared 2.04m on his first attempt to win the gold medal once again.
Derek Loccident from the USA finished second and set a new personal best of 2.04m on his third attempt. Lepiato took the bronze medal after failing to clear 2.04m.
