‘Promoting Positive Change: How ‘Grow the Good’ Initiative is Transforming Rural Health Care’

George, the therapy dog, is now basking in the limelight after his Sanford Health trading card video received an award at the 41st annual Healthcare Ad Awards. The first-person account, narrated by George’s volunteer handler, was recognized as one of the top marketing projects in the event.

The Sanford Health marketing team received a total of 12 awards across eight categories at the competition, which highlights excellence in healthcare marketing and advertising. With 54 award categories to choose from, including traditional and digital advertising, content strategies, websites, videos, fundraising campaigns, and COVID/vaccination efforts, it’s clear that Sanford Health is a force to be reckoned with in the healthcare industry.

A national panel of judges reviewed over 4,300 entries in this year’s competition and evaluated them based on creativity, quality, message effectiveness, consumer appeal, graphic design, and overall impact. Among the awards received by Sanford Health were Gold distinctions for various campaigns such as Primary Care Campaign and Good Samaritan Society – Home Health Campaign. Silver and Bronze distinctions were also awarded for other campaigns like Reasons you may not be enjoying sex podcast.
